Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of rasantextile.com (the "Website") and any purchase you make through it. The Website is operated by RASAN TEXTILE LIMITED, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (Company No. 81240718), with its registered office at Unit 903, 9/F, Cameron Commercial Centre, 458-468 Hennessy Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong ("Rasan Textile", "we", "us", "our").

Please read these Terms carefully. By using the Website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Refund & Returns Policy, Shipping & Collection Policy and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1. Eligibility

To place an order, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate, current and complete information
  • Use a payment card that you are authorised to use

2. Guest checkout

You do not need to create an account to order. Each order is placed as a guest using the name, email and phone number you enter at checkout, and all order updates are sent to those contact details. Please make sure they are correct.

3. Products and descriptions

  • We make every effort to describe and photograph our products accurately. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, and natural variations in fabric texture, shade and pattern can occur between batches. These variations are not defects.
  • Measurements and sizes are approximate. Please check the measurements in the product details before ordering, and contact us if you are unsure.
  • All products are subject to availability. We may limit quantities, and we may discontinue any product at any time.

4. Prices

  • Prices are displayed and charged in US Dollars (USD).
  • Prices do not include shipping, customs clearance, import duties or taxes. Shipping is arranged and paid for by the customer (see our Shipping & Collection Policy).
  • We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
  • If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the order and fully refund you, even after confirmation.

5. Placing an order

  1. Your order is an offer to buy from us.
  2. After you pay, you will receive an order acknowledgement email. This confirms we received your order; it does not yet mean we have accepted it.
  3. A contract between you and Rasan Textile is formed when we send you an order confirmation email confirming that we have accepted your order and started preparing it.

We may refuse or cancel an order before it is handed over to your carrier, for example if a product is unavailable, there is a pricing error, we cannot verify your payment, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund you in full to your original payment method.

6. Payment

  • All orders must be paid online at checkout by credit or debit card (such as Visa or Mastercard) or other methods displayed at checkout, processed securely by our payment provider, Airwallex.
  • We do not accept cash on delivery.
  • Your order will be processed only after your payment is successfully authorised and confirmed.
  • Card details are handled directly by Airwallex. We do not store your full card details.
  • Your card issuer may charge foreign transaction or currency conversion fees. These are outside our control and are your responsibility.
  • We and Airwallex may carry out fraud and security checks, and may ask you for additional verification before an order is processed.

7. Preparation, collection and shipping

  • In-stock items are prepared within 3–7 business days. Cut-to-order and custom items take 1–4 weeks on average. These times are estimates.
  • Shipping is arranged and paid for by the customer, through their own courier or freight forwarder. Details are set out in our Shipping & Collection Policy.
  • Responsibility for the products passes to you when they are handed over to your carrier at our collection point in Sulaimani, Iraq. Ownership passes once full payment is received and the goods are handed over.

8. Returns and refunds

Cancellations, returns and refunds are handled under our Refund & Returns Policy.

9. Acceptable use

When using the Website, you agree not to:

  • Use the Website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
  • Place orders using stolen or unauthorised payment cards
  • Attempt to access, interfere with or damage the Website, its servers or its data
  • Copy, scrape or reproduce the Website content for commercial purposes without our written permission
  • Resell products bought from the Website in a way that misrepresents their origin or our brand

10. Intellectual property

All content on the Website, including text, product photos, graphics, logos, the "Rasan Textile" name and the design of the Website, belongs to Rasan Textile or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy or distribute it without our prior written consent.

11. Limitation of liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit, business or opportunity.
  • We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, customs holds, natural disasters, security incidents, government actions, internet or power outages ("force majeure").
  • Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded by law, or any rights you have under consumer protection laws that apply to you.

12. Third-party services

The Website may use or link to third-party services, including our payment provider (Airwallex), your chosen couriers and freight forwarders, and social media platforms. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the Website at the time you place your order applies to that order. The latest version will always be available on this page with its effective date.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. If a dispute arises, please contact us first. We will try to resolve it fairly and quickly. If it cannot be resolved, the courts of Hong Kong will have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
